Muss mir nen neuen Job fuer August suchen, hab die Antwort von der Immigration gerade per EMail erhalten.
So langsam gewoehne ich mich dran nur Absagen auf meine Visa Antraege zubekommen.
Aber echt keine Ahnung warum die so nen Aufstand wegen einem Monat machen.
Hab die auch direkt mal angerufen, aber laut der Frau am Telefon ist meine Position nicht “highly skilled” und somit komme ich nicht in Frage fuer eine Verlaengerung. Wenn ich jetzt nen Doktor oder nen Anwalt waere, der mitten in einem Fall ist, dann koennte man die Verlaengerung bekommen, aber nicht als Programmierer der gerade an 4 verschieden Web Seiten arbeitet.

Kann mal Ross heute Abend fragen, ob nicht ne platz in seiner Firma frei ist, er arbeitet irgendwo im Lager.

Dear Mr Sommerfeld

Thank you for your email in relation to extending the period of employment
with one employer beyond the 6 months limitation prescribed by condition
8547.

Working Holiday visas have a condition (8547) limiting work with any
employer to 6 months. Visa holders who work for more than six months with
an employer without prior written permission from the department are in
breach of their visa condition and their visa may be subject to
cancellation.

Requests to extend the employment period beyond 6 months are only granted
in exceptional circumstances. Exceptional circumstances must be
extraordinary and unforeseeable, and relate to an Australian permanent
resident, citizen or business.

Exceptional circumstances might include remaining in your current job:

for a very short time (less than one month) as you are critical to
the completion of a specialised project that has unexpectedly gone
over time. This generally only relates to highly skilled activities,
for example, a lawyer in the middle of a trial.
while a decision is being made on an application for a visa which
would allow you to continue full time work with your employer, such
as a Temporary Business Long Stay (subclass 457), Spouse (subclass
820) or other Partner visa, Occupational Trainee (subclass 442) visa,
Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 856) visa, Regional Sponsored
Migration Scheme (subclass 857) visa, or other permanent or
provisional Skilled Migration visa.

Exceptional circumstances do not include remaining in your current job
because you:

have the required skills or because of labour shortages.
are required to complete a project in a job that is not highly
skilled.
Example: retail or administration.
have applied or intend to apply for a visa which requires you to
leave Australia at the time of grant.
Example: Skilled Visa subclasses 175, 176 and 475.
are not able to apply for another kind of visa.

DECISION

The information you have provided has been considered.  Your request for an
extension to the work limitation has been refused as your circumstances are
not exceptional, as described above
